| MORE BACKUP VOCALS WITH SPRINGSTEEN ON 'WRECKING BALL' |
|
Welcome to my website. It’s not very “flashy” but I hope you find it interesting.
This is just a short intro. The other pages discuss a little more detail about livin’ la vida loca. Just click on the list to the left to read about that subject. I've tried to keep the site simple for the techno-challenged such as myself!
I'm a native Jersey Girl---without the gum and big hair---and have spent the past twenty-five years straddling a book publishing career and musical aspirations. The latest "big thing" in my music endeavors is singing back-up on Bruce Springsteen's new release: Wrecking Ball where I can be heard stretching beyond my limits on the second track "Easy Money".
When I graduated from The University of Miami School of Music, I moved back North and studied at Carnegie Hall for five years and worked as a "temp"—while doing Off Broadway, playing extras in films, bit parts on soaps, and singing at dingy clubs at night, After a few years of this double life I took the dreaded “Day Job” in publishing at DC Comics. It was quirky and creative, and eventually I went on to become a Vice President at Penguin. I realized that the corporate world wasn't for me and I jumped the ship to have more flexibility in my creative pursuits, but I still hold on to a BIG chunk of publishing on a daily basis. The cats insist on eating regularly, and then there's that mortgage thing. You can read more about my publishing career under Wildcat Marketing. Let's just say my life is a "work in progress!"
From Toms River to Miami, Off-Broadway to Nashville, then back to New Jersey to ultimately sing with "THE BOSS" [Bruce Springsteen for those of you who have been living in a cave for the past 30 years] the "road" has been a constant adventure. It doesn't always go in the direction you think and you don't know what detours are ahead!
Never abandoning my creative objectives, each year I’ve tried to deliver a new music project, or something exciting to listen to! I hope you visit and enjoy the other pages, and perhaps find some of it inspiring—because when it comes to life: you never know!
On your journey may you see many beautiful things.
